Arizona Athletic Grounds Added to FIFA World Cup 26 Team Base Camp Brochure

AAG one of 26 new options added as potential Team Base Camps

MESA, Ariz. (Nov. 25, 2024) – Arizona Athletic Grounds, the USA's premier youth athletic grounds, is now a potential Team Base Camp for FIFA World Cup 26TM. AAG will now be considered by participating nations as a primary base for teams during the group stage, where they will train, rest and prepare for their matches.

The Base Camps offer teams a variety of "homes away from home" for the tournament. The current list represents potential candidates for Team Base Camps. AAG's facilities include 

AAG's industry-leading facilities feature 24 multipurpose fields, four of which are grass, including a 2,200 seat Championship Field. In addition, the versatile fieldhouse space can accommodate coaches' offices, locker rooms and a team-meeting area and a nearly 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art performance center.

FIFA said the draw, anticipated to be staged in December 2025, will reveal the geographic zones in which teams will play their group matches, further guiding their decisions regarding their respective Team Base Camp locations. Teams are expected to submit their final selections following the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup 26.

FIFA World Cup 26™ is scheduled to be played in 16 cities across the United States, Canada and Mexico, including Dallas. The tournament will be played from June 11-July 19, 2026.
