Arizona Athletic Grounds

General Property Rules

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please respect the following rules:

All persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to screening/security checks. This includes screening by metal detectors.

We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item and to deal with any unattended object, bag or luggage in such way as we consider appropriate.

Firearms, ammunition, knives and weapons of any kind are prohibited. Only active Federal, Arizona State Law Enforcement Officers or LEOSA (retired Law Enforcement Officers) qualified individuals will be authorized to enter with a firearm. Credentials will be verified at the time of entry.

Smoking marijuana or using illegal substances is not permitted at any time. For the comfort of all Guests, Arizona Athletic Grounds is smoke free. The smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke is allowed only outdoors (20 feet from any building/field).

Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior of their minor children. Appropriate behavior and supervision are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and is always expected. Arizona Athletic Grounds does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors. Parents/guardians may be held legally liable for all acts of the children under their care.

Theft, public disorder, verbal and physical violence, insults or racial taunts, cheating, fraud, drunken or indecent behavior, malevolence, violations of safety regulations and these Grounds access rules, discriminating or other socially unacceptable behavior, may lead Arizona Athletic Grounds to take the necessary action including informing the police, filing a complaint or removing the guest from the Grounds without any sort of compensation, refund or claim.

Prohibited Items
  • Firearms, ammunition, knives and weapons of any kind.
  • Self-defense or restraining devices (e.g., pepper spray, mace).
  • Marijuana (including marijuana enriched products) or any illegal substance.
  • Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons.
  • Fireworks or other similarly explosive and/or flammable objects, smoke machines or fog machines.
  • Outside food and beverages.
  • Horns, whistles, large megaphones or artificial noise makers.
  • Recreational devices such as bicycles, drones, remote-control toys, skateboards, scooters, inline skates or shoes with built-in wheels.
  • Suitcases, bags, coolers (except team coolers) or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm).
  • Folding chairs are not allowed indoors.
  • Fire pits are not allowed.
  • No metal cleats.
  • Camera tri, dual or single leg pods by non-media personnel.

We reserve the right to prohibit the use of any other item not listed above that we determine may be harmful or disruptive, in our sole and absolute discretion.

Prohibited Activities
  • Guests interfering with the progress of any game or by going onto any field/surface of play during any in-progress game will be removed from the property.
  • The sale of goods or services, or the display of goods or services, unless prior written approval has been obtained.
  • The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind unless prior written approval has been obtained.
  • Engaging in any criminal act, unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of the Arizona Athletic Grounds or any part thereof.
  • Unauthorized access or entry into areas designated for employees only.
  • Unauthorized events, speeches, or use of any flag, banner, sign or other material for commercial purposes, or as part of a demonstration.
  • Photography, videotaping or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity, for unapproved commercial purposes.
  • Unauthorized solicitations of any kind, whether commercial, religious, educational or otherwise, or conducting any unauthorized commercial activities, including solicitations of money or other contributions or donations.
  • Obstructing sidewalks, entrances, driveways, patios, vestibules, stairways, corridors, halls or landings.
Guest Courtesy and Attire Policies
  • Proper attire, including footwear, are to be always worn. Clothing with multiple layers is subject to search. We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests.
  • Masks may not be worn by any Guests ages 14 or older (unless required for religious or medical purposes). When worn by younger Guests, masks may not cover the entire face and must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.
  • Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and Arizona Athletic Grounds employees by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior.
Animal Policies
  • Service animal means a dog or miniature horse that is trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist, an individual with a disability. All other animals, including emotional support, comfort or companion animals, are not considered service animals.
  • Pets or other animals, except service animals (i.e., dogs and miniature horses, as defined above) are prohibited unless a prescribed and contracted event, such as a dog show for which the lessee has implemented rules of boundary and preparation for the specific area of the grounds to have animals for show purposes only.
  • Service animals should remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times.
Distributor Standards
Sponsors and facility user groups shall comply with and ensure that sponsorship materials, event activities and programs comply with AZ Athletic Associates LLC's designated distributor's and/or exhibitor's then-current integrity policies, standards and practices, advertising guidelines and ensure that neither the sponsorship materials, event activities nor programs contain any of the following: 
  • Content and/or activities containing themes or talent that depict or are associated with objectionable social or political messaging or agendas;
  • Sexually explicit content and/or activities or nudity;
  • Content and/or activities that could be deemed obscene or indecent;
  • Illegal drug use or the abuse of legal drugs or alcohol;
  • Derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexually-oriented or religious groups;
  • Profane or other potentially offensive language;
  • Content and/or activities containing inappropriate religious symbolism, practice or advocacy;
  • Violence, especially where women or children are victims or, are threatened by, acts of violence; 
  • Guns or weaponry, except that guns or weapons that are specifically designed for recreational purposes (i.e., non-military grade weapons that are designed solely for use in legal target shooting, hunting or fishing) may be accepted in hunting programming on a case-by-case basis (for the avoidance of doubt, programming that depicts the hunting or killing of vulnerable, threatened, or endangered animals (e.g., big cats, polar bears, elephants, rhinos) is not acceptable); and 
  • Other content or elements that AZAA, acting in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate.
These rules are subject to change at any time without notice.

Company Rights
  • The Arizona Athletic Grounds and its designated roadways, walkways, and parking areas, is private property.
  • We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters the Arizona Athletic Grounds and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person.
  • We reserve the right to deny admission, prevent entry or require a person already admitted to leave the Arizona Athletic Grounds or any part thereof, without refund, liability or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, or failure to meet specific event or tournament requirements, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances otherwise so require, in our sole and absolute discretion.
  • We may from time to time, in our sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice and without refund, liability or compensation, change the operating hours of any facility, close the Arizona Athletic Grounds or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to a facility and/or suspend or cancel any program if we consider that the circumstances so require.
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage of belongings or property, consistent with applicable law.
