ARIZONA ATHLETIC GROUNDS INKS DEAL WITH NIKE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS TO SERVE AS LONG TERM HOST FOR ELITE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL AND BASKETBALL

NIKE TOC Events Are Among The Most Competitive and Prestigious Tournaments in the Country

MESA, Ariz. – Oct. 1, 2026  –  Arizona Athletic Grounds (AAG), the national destination for championship sports and live entertainment that attracts millions of visitors annually, announced today a three-year deal to serve as the host site for the Nike Tournament of Champions elite girls' volleyball and basketball competitions, events that are considered among the most competitive and prestigious tournaments in the country.  

"A three-year commitment from a tournament with this much history speaks to the trust we've built with Nike Tournament of Champions," said Austin Andreotti, Director of Strategy and Finance at Arizona Athletic Grounds.  "Marquee events of this magnitude put AAG's focus on white glove service in the spotlight. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, ensuring the highest quality environment for the nation's top operators."

The Nike TOC Southwest volleyball tournament will be played Oct. 2-3, while the Nike TOC basketball showcase is scheduled for Dec. 18-22.
  
In its 18th year, the Nike Tournament of Champions Southwest is an elite high school girls volleyball tournament that will feature 96 of the most competitive high school teams in the nation, and will include the majority of the preseason Top-25 prep teams in the country and nearly every top high-school volleyball team in the Western U.S. 

Competition will be divided into three, 32-team divisions, with each team playing seven matches over the two days of competition.  Champions will be crowned in all three divisions.  

In its 29th year, the Nike Tournament of Champions is an elite high school girls basketball tournament that will feature 125 elite high school basketball teams in the nation, including the majority of the preseason Top-25 prep teams in the country and a majority of the top high-school basketball teams in the Western United States. 

The Nike TOC has crowned consensus national champions 22 times in the last 26 seasons, has highlighted 244 State Championship teams, and has been the launchpad for 22 WNBA All-Stars and eight U.S.A. Olympians.
