Arizona Athletic Grounds Secures 11 Triple Crown Sports Baseball Events through 2029

Extended partnership builds on past successful events

February 25, 2026 — Arizona Athletic Grounds, one of the nation's top destinations for sports and entertainment, is partnering with Triple Crown Sports to host 11 baseball tournaments beginning this month and continuing through 2029. Triple Crown Sports is a national leader in amateur sports event management, hosting premier youth and collegiate competitions across baseball, softball, volleyball and basketball. With a focus on elite competition, player development and first-class event operations, TCS events attract top teams from across the country while delivering meaningful exposure opportunities for athletes. The Arizona Spring Championships, one of the largest youth baseball events in the world, has become a staple of the spring calendar, bringing hundreds of teams to the Valley each year during Major League Baseball Spring Training.

"Matt and the entire Triple Crown team are exceptional to work with and approach every event with a goal of making it better than the last," said Ashley Pauly, Director of Diamonds. "We're excited to work together to grow these events over the next four years."

The diamonds complex at AAG features eight turf fields, offering a consistent playing surface and fewer weather-related cancellations, ideal for large tournaments and year-round programming.

"We're thrilled to continue building on the momentum we've created at Arizona Athletic Grounds," said Matt Pilcher, Event Director for the Arizona Spring Championships at Triple Crown Sports. "The facility, the staff and the overall experience in Mesa make this an ideal home for our events. Our goal is always to raise the bar for our teams and families, and this partnership gives us the platform to do that for years to come."

First pitch for the series begins tomorrow, Thursday, February 26, with the AZ Spring Championships Session 1.  Visit Triple Crown's website to learn more, or grab your tickets now at AZGrounds.com.
